The Comfort Club

Give comfort to those who need it most.

For some, being a hospital patient can be an overwhelming experience. This is why we believe it’s so important that every patient feels comfortable and safe during their stay at OTMH.

The Comfort Club is a unique opportunity to come together and equip our hospital with items needed to foster the best healing environment possible for our patients. This includes equipment suited for optimal rest and recovery including treatment chairs and stretchers. Comfortable reclining chairs are especially important for patients who spend a lot of time sitting while receiving treatment such as chemotherapy or dialysis. Having a comfortable yet practical place to heal and recover makes a huge difference to patients and caregivers.

As a member of The Comfort Club, we will proudly include your name on our donor wall, in the Foundation’s Annual Report and on a distinctive plaque honouring you and other members of The Comfort Club.

With your support, we can enhance the patient and family experience by reducing unnecessary stress and anxiety and improving the healing process.

Customize Your Pledge

Your donation of $5,000, along with the support of other club members, will help us fund 15 chairs urgently needed this year alone in areas such as the Emergency Department, Cancer Clinic, and the Ophthalmology Clinic. You may wish to make a one-time donation of $5,000 or structure your gift as a pledge to be paid over time. We can help determine a donation payment schedule that works best for you.
