A Second Chance At Life

I’ve been given a second chance at life because of the care I received at OTMH.

I’ll always remember her. I only wish I knew her name. I’ll always remember the sweet and gentle nurse who held my hand as she told me the news that I wouldn’t be leaving the hospital that day.

When that wonderful nurse came and sat with me, she told me I had a 99% blockage in my artery. She explained it wasn’t safe for me to go home. Normally this would be earth-shattering news, but the way she explained everything set me at ease. That experience really started me off on the right foot. Dr. Heffernan admitted me to the Critical Care Unit right away.

I wanted to say again say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the exemplary care I received at OTMH. I got the treatment I needed and I’m doing great today.

Being cared for at OTMH meant I got to go back home to my family, and for that, I am grateful.
