Celebrating Four New Flagship Families

Reimagining a New Era of Healthcare in Oakville

We are honoured to introduce four new Flagship Families whose vision and generosity are creating a brighter future for healthcare in Oakville and Halton Region.

With a $3 million gift from The Walmley Foundation, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital’s lab facilities will take a bold step forward, equipped with leading-edge technology to deliver fast, accurate diagnostics.

The Best Foot Forward Initiative, led by Christie Henderson, is dedicating $4 million to expand and enhance mental health services, strengthening support for those who need it most.

We are also deeply grateful to the Warren Y. Soper Charitable Trust for their $3 million leadership gift and for their role in establishing the financial foundation of the clinical research program which is providing access to advances in medical diagnoses and treatments for those in our community and to an anonymous donor for their $3 million donation to further strengthen research initiatives in Halton.

These inspiring contributions bring the total raised by our 12 Flagship Families to an incredible $43 million. Through their commitment, these families have become champions of healthcare innovation, challenging the limits of what’s possible for patient care and paving the way for future advancements.
