Urgent Care for Cancer Patients, Close to Home

For patients undergoing cancer treatment, unexpected symptoms like dehydration, fever, or infection can be serious. But getting the right care quickly can make all the difference.

That’s why Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) is proud to introduce the FOCUS Clinic (Fast Oncology Care for Urgent Symptoms), which opened on March 3, 2025.

This dedicated clinic provides specialized, same-day care in a safe, supportive setting, offering an alternative to the Emergency Department for patients who need urgent attention.

The FOCUS Clinic will make a real difference for our community by:

• Ensuring patients receive timely care from specialized oncology nurses
• Reducing unnecessary Emergency Department visits
• Supporting the hospital’s cancer care team and enhancing patient flow
